Building a Stronger Frayser Community
Building a Stronger Frayser Community
Centurion Community Support Center was founded on September 29, 2014, with a vision to serve the Frayser community through education, support, and outreach. Since 1991, Frayser has experienced over 490 homicides, highlighting the urgent need for community-centered care and intervention.
Under the leadership of Mrs. Cynthia Pulliam, President & CEO, our organization has grown into a trusted hub for compassionate care, trauma-informed services, and community development. We provide support for individuals and families impacted by violence, addiction, and other life challenges, helping them heal, grow, and thrive.
Mrs. Pulliam is a gun violence advocate, having tragically lost her son to gun violence, and is dedicated to creating safer, stronger communities through prevention, education, and empowerment.
We exist to create opportunities, fill gaps in essential services, and bring hope to families and individuals in need, addressing trauma, promoting healing, and building a brighter future for the Frayser community.

In 2011, Memphis saw 3,458 violent incidents involving guns.
By 2023, that number surged to 8,110 — a staggering 73% increase.
And we are already on pace to exceed that number by the end of 2025.
Gun violence is more than a statistic. It’s families shattered, communities grieving, and futures stolen. We must confront this crisis together. The Brotherhood will continue to shine a light on this issue, and we are grateful to all who stand with us in this fight.
Special thank you to Cynthia Pulliam for inviting us to this powerful memorial. Our boys were truly moved.
“We will not surrender. We will keep working to make a difference.”

In the heart of Memphis, a new movement is emerging — one led by young ambassadors, problem solvers, and community leaders who refuse to accept violence as the norm. With violent gun incidents rising from 3,458 in 2011 to 8,110 in 2023, and the city on pace to surpass that in 2025, the crisis demands attention.
Our youth are stepping forward to answer that call, bringing leadership, creativity, and bold responsibility into the fight for a safer Memphis.

Across the city, young change-makers are rewriting the narrative.
The graffiti artist painting hope where despair once stood…
The photographer capturing strength and courage…
The baller empowering kids on and off the court…
The nursing student healing wounds seen and unseen…
Together, they form an unbreakable chain — hands once used for harm becoming instruments of peace. Through mentorship, art, leadership, and responsibility, Memphis youth are shaping a brighter future and breaking cycles that once felt unshakable.
